We're looking for a dynamic candidate to join us in the role of Product Manager - Aviation Systems. This position will help shape the future of aviation technology at Melbourne Airport. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovative improvements across aviation systems, enhancing both airport operations and the traveller experience. You'll oversee the aviation systems delivery roadmap, partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution from design to delivery.

Key responsibilities:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Business, System, and Product Improvements: Drive business improvements and manage the aviation system product roadmap to achieve key outcomes.
Project Management: Oversee the delivery of aviation capital projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement and operational efficiency.
Operational Readiness (ORAT): Lead the transition of aviation systems into live operations and ensure smooth handover to operating teams.
Reputation and Risk Management: Ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder sign-off throughout project phases.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to support project success.
Policy and Process: Ensure technology projects and improvements are supported by robust policies and procedures for long-term impact.
The successful candidate will have:
A high level of initiative and flexibility with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proven ability to partner with and influence stakeholders to meet Melbourne Airport and airline customer business objectives
Strong knowledge and experience within the Aviation industry with a focus on airport operations or airline customer/operations, delivery and strategy
Good understanding and demonstratable experience in passenger facilitation technology and/or airport operational systems
Background in recognising opportunities for continuous improvement and developing implementation plans
Experience in developing system-based requirements/solutions to drive the right outcome, alongside exposure to designing functional workflows
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
Technical experience in Airline Reservation and Ticketing Systems, Common Use Airport Equipment Systems or similar a plus
