Banking - Business (Banking & Financial Services) Full time Employee Benefits + discounted financial products An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Business Bank (which includes Bank of Queensland, BOQ Specialist and BOQ Finance brands) as a Product Manager – Asset Finance on a permanent full-time basis, supporting the BOQ Finance business.
As a Product Manager – Asset Finance at BOQ Group, you will be a vital part of the Business Lending Product team, focusing on managing our asset finance products.
Your role will involve driving portfolio growth, maintaining sustainable returns, and keeping the customer and broker experience at the centre of everything we do.
You will also manage the risk profile of the business - ensuring risk is managed appropriately and compliance with the industry code of conduct and other regulation.
Key Accountabilities include: Driving balance sheet growth whilst optimising returns and focusing on key customer outcomes.Manage risk of key asset finance products (incidents, controls, issues).Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry code of conduct.Identify and deliver initiatives that support customer experience, growth and returns.Maintain an understanding of the asset finance portfolio and provide insights on its contribution to the balance sheet.This position reports directly to the Senior Manager Asset Finance & Portfolio and does not have direct reports.
About you You've got a can-do attitude, a proven track record of delivery and are a keen problem solver.
You're a team player, who works well with others and is comfortable talking to a broad range of people including customers and brokers, as well as senior stakeholders.
You're well versed within the financial services industry (preferably within asset finance) with relevant work experience at a financial institution, and are keen to progress your knowledge of business banking to the next level.
