We bring brands to life!The opportunityWe are on the lookout for Product Developer to join our dynamic Clarks footwear team, reporting to the Clarks Product Manager. This role is a 12-month parental leave cover based in Richmond VIC. You will deliver quality product that stands up to the DNA of Clarks heritage; to think differently while never losing sight of what we do best and creating great fitting footwear.Role Responsibilities:Development and design product ranges in line with brand quality and margin expectationsComplete the product life cycle from development to bulk productionPrepare detailed CAD design and tech packs according to Product Manager brief with relevant informationEffectively communicate tech packs and target prices to suppliersEffectively communicate fit and styling feedback to suppliers for commercialization.Trend forecasting and presentation through trends boards and colour palettesCritical path adherenceCost negotiations to meet target marginsTrack, comment and communicate approvals and changes in a timely mannerConduct post-season analysis reviewsComplete competitor analysisEstablish and maintain factory/sourcing strategy and relationshipsLocal and international travel may be requiredThe skills and experience you offer us:Technical Footwear development and design experience is essentialExperience in children's footwear is highly advantageous3+ years of experience in a similar roleHigh level of proficiency with Adobe Creative SuiteInnovation, seeking ideas and inspiration outside the normal channelsHighly creative, innovative and collaborative design skillsAbility to create accurate technical specification drawingsAbility to prioritise and effectively multitask when working under pressure.Ability to build strong relationships and maintain alignment with internal & external partnersProven experience with off-shore manufacturing processClear and concise communication skillsJust some of the perks we offer you:Generous discounts for you and your family across Brand Collective's stable of brands!
