The opportunity We are on the lookout for Product Developer to join our dynamic Clarks footwear team, reporting to the Clarks Product Manager.
This role is a 12-month parental leave cover based in Richmond VIC.
You will deliver quality product that stands up to the DNA of Clarks heritage; to think differently while never losing sight of what we do best and creating great fitting footwear.
Role Responsibilities: Development and design product ranges in line with brand quality and margin expectations Complete the product life cycle from development to bulk production Prepare detailed CAD design and tech packs according to Product Manager brief with relevant information Effectively communicate tech packs and target prices to suppliers Effectively communicate fit and styling feedback to suppliers for commercialization.
Trend forecasting and presentation through trends boards and colour palettes Critical path adherence Cost negotiations to meet target margins Track, comment and communicate approvals and changes in a timely manner Conduct post-season analysis reviews Complete competitor analysis Establish and maintain factory/sourcing strategy and relationships Local and international travel may be required The skills and experience you offer us: Technical Footwear development and design experience is essential Experience in children's footwear is highly advantageous 3+ years of experience in a similar role High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite Innovation, seeking ideas and inspiration outside the normal channels Highly creative, innovative and collaborative design skills Ability to create accurate technical specification drawings Ability to prioritise and effectively multitask when working under pressure.
