BTM Group Ltd, is the global licensee for New Balance Industrial footwear, responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of the product globally. We are a small dynamic team with global operations, now going through an extremely strong growth period, locally and overseas.
Supported by a small, young, entrepreneurial team within an incredibly fast-moving business, we are looking to bring in likeminded people to join the organisation & to help elevate and push the business to another level. This role would be based from our Cremorne, VIC head office but working alongside a range of global partners & stakeholders.
About the Role As the Product Category Data Specialist, you will own all things data as it relates to all of our products locally and overseas, and how they move from the factories though different countries and then onto consumers. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining and updating master data across all systems (e.g., product catalogues, customer databases, inventory records), ensuring data qualityEnsuring adherence to industry standards and company protocols from a governance & compliance perspectiveWorking closely with different departments (such as marketing, finance, and operations) to ensure data accuracy and alignment across the organisationProviding general administrative support to the team, including product data maintenance (codes/barcodes), forecasting, website management, management of product samples, completion of NPI set up forms etcAssisting and updating sales and customer service with customer product, range and cataloguing enquiriesGenerating reports and providing insights based on master data, helping departments make informed business decisionsProviding on-going analysis for monthly and quarterly reviews including pricing analysis, category & new product performanceCreating and maintain documentation related to master data processes, policies, and standardsOverseeing the entire lifecycle of master data, from creation to archival or deletion when no longer neededAssisting with Product Performance Reviews and product category performanceAbout you Ideally you have worked within data from a category or product perspective in the consumer good space. You have proven experience of working with data management tools from ERPs systems to various analytics tools. You understand data governance and compliance, and know what good quality data should look like, as well as adhering to data privacy standards.
You have a strong attention to detail, are super organised and happy to jump into different project work as needed as the business grows and evolves. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited about working in a high growth business.
