This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in procurement and supply chain management within a leading not-for-profit organisation.
Training and mentorship will be provided to support professional growth and development in the field.
This is a Permanent Part-Time Position ( 22.8   hours per week ) role based in South Brisbane .
Key responsibilities include: Motor Vehicle Fleet Coordination Support • Oversee the weekly vehicle fleet change overs, drivers and fleet admin support requests, including accident and claim enquiries, new motor vehicle request and disposal.
• Monitor the utilisation of the vehicles monthly and identify and communicate any over utilisation to Procurement Manager • Follow up the Motor Vehicle Insurance Claims with the claim management and insurance provider • Register the new vehicle requests, vehicle disposal requests, delivery schedules for changeovers etc.
• Collaborate with Fleet Admin Supports and Fleet Management Suppliers and ensure the inspections, and preventative servicing of vehicles comply with the OEM recommendation and Fleet Management contractual terms.
General Procurement Support • Assist in researching suppliers and gathering information to support purchasing decisions, under guidance from senior team members.
• Help prepare basic reports and summaries on procurement activities as directed by the Procurement Manager • Provide administrative support for procurement activities, including data entry, document management, and filing.
Cost Management • Provide support to Procurement Manager to analyse cost data to identify opportunities for savings and optimization.
To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Excel, Share Point, Outlook, etc).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, with a willingness to engage and collaborate with team members.
A proactive, can-do attitude with an enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills.
