Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic team that shapes the future of an entire institute? We are seeking a dedicated professional to spearhead our procurement and contract management, ensuring compliance with the highest standards. You'll offer expert guidance on procurement, tendering, and commercial management practices, crucial for meeting government and educational requirements. 
Join our Internal Procurement Unit (IPU) within the vibrant Finance Department. Here, you'll collaborate with a small but dynamic team, driving strategic procurement, contract management, tendering, business analysis, and commercial advisory services. This is your chance to make a significant impact and grow in a supportive and innovative environment. 
Selected Duties: Assist to develop, maintain, and coordinate effective procurement, contract, and commercial management processes to meet compliance requirements of VGPB and the Institute. Provide advice, support, and direction to Institute staff in the development and maintenance of an Institute wide procurement, contract, and tendering management processes. Assist in the development and maintenance of procurement and contracting procedures for users to ensure compliant outcomes. Assist to develop, maintain, and coordinate the management of contracts and procurement activity in accordance with statutory requirements. Assist with the overall management of functions of the Internal Procurement Unit in a manner that reflects the strategic objectives of the Institute. About You Skills & Experience Relevant Degree and experience; or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience in procurement; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education /training. Procurement experience in a private or public service/government environment. Desirable: Qualification in Procurement or Contract Management (e.g., Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply). Desirable: Previous experience ICT and/or Construction procurement within a public/government environment. Desirable: Knowledge of VGPB procurement policy Your values align to ours - Community + Collaboration, Creativity + Innovation and Integrity + Respect.  About Us Wodonga TAFE is dedicated to providing quality education and training programs to individuals and industry across our campuses in Northeast Victoria and around Australia.
