Key ResponsibilitiesRaising & adjusting POs where necessaryReporting any significant PO changes that may impact the businessAssisting sales enquiries with product sourcingNegotiating with Suppliers regarding pricing and service/delivery performanceDeveloping and managing supplier relationshipsCollaborating and liaising with key stakeholdersWorking as a team to identify areas of improvement or riskProviding accurate reports on all stock levels and stock demand to assist in Business AnalysisWorking closely with internal & external stakeholdersControlling stock levels and the storeroom to ensure all items are fully stocked at all timesRequirementsPrevious experience in purchasingSolid understanding of purchasing and inventoryExperience within the Manufacture or construction industry is preferredDemonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating on price pointsStrong literacy and numeracy skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills required for internal and external dealings and negotiationsAbility to multitask, problem solve, and be organized with good time managementAbility to analyze information and make appropriate decisionsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and forecasting experienceAbility to take ownership and deliver a high standard of customer serviceHighly motivated with strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize workloadsFlexibility to take on tasks necessary to achieve desired resultsAccountability for own actionsAbility to work to deadlines and timeframesTeam player with the ability to influence in a positive mannerComputer literate with strong administration skillsHold a current driver's licenseAs a valued part of our team, you'll enjoy several benefits, including regular company lunches, professional development initiatives, and access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
