About the client Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia.
Currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join their busy team for a temporary assignment until June 2025.
About the role As a Procurement Officer, you will provide level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
In addition, your key duties are as follow: Providing level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency.
Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, NDIA Procurement Policy and procedures.
Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs.
Preparing a range of procurement related documentation.
Drafting correspondence and reports, including emails and letters.
Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting.
Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements.
About you To be successful in this role, you must have: Understanding of procurement processes  Proven Federal, State, or Local Government experience Previous experience using HR and/or Finance business systems Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.
Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.
