What's the role on offer? We like to promote internally where we can so we're looking for our next superstar to join us as a Procurement Officer - Base Maintenance.
Based onsite at our Head Office near Brisbane Airport, this exciting opportunity puts you at the heart of our Procurement team, working closely with our dynamic Operational Material Manager.
As the Procurement Officer - Base Maintenance , you'll lead the charge in logistical analysis and coordination of consumable, expendable, and rotable materials, ensuring smooth operations across the entire Alliance Airlines network.
From forecasting and modelling to service order management, you'll drive efficiency while implementing industry best practices that elevate safety, streamline operations, and keep costs in check.
Drive procurement success: Forecast, analyse, and review activities to ensure timely, cost-effective outcomes that meet internal and external stakeholder needs.
Optimize inventory efficiency: Continuously analyse data to maintain ideal stock levels and streamline materials management for maximum efficiency.
Tackle high-stakes projects: Collaborate with key leaders on time-sensitive aircraft component initiatives, resolving material issues and escalating when needed.
Master data systems: Interrogate multiple systems, expertly manipulate data, and generate timely, accurate reports that keep stakeholders informed.
Foster strong relationships: Build and maintain lasting connections with management, vendors, suppliers, and colleagues, ensuring seamless collaboration.
Champion safety and compliance: Uphold high safety, security, and regulatory standards, contributing to continuous improvement and a compliant work environment.
Who we are looking for: Our ideal candidate will have experience in the aviation industry with aircraft inventory computer programmes.
You will be excited for new challenges and open to embracing the growth of our Airline.
Ideally you would be familiar with procurement and supplier management disciplines, as well as a familiarity to the operational objectives and pressure points of an aviation business. Your skills will consist of: Qualifications in Procurement and contracting as well as purchasing.
Ability to develop and implement processes, apply logic to data compilation, and use strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Excellent written and oral communication, advanced computer skills, and great numeracy.
Demonstrated capability to work autonomously as well as in a team-focused environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and organise work.
Proactive approach with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks and maintain accuracy while adhering to work instructions.
