TriCare is a leading service-based organisation dedicated to excellence in operations, procurement, and contract management. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing functions, manage contracts, ensure compliance, and contribute to our organisation's overall efficiency and success. This will be reporting to Group Facilities & Asset Manager.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide management oversight to ensure the purchasing function is efficient and cost-effective.Develop and maintain robust purchasing systems to achieve streamlined outcomes within the scope.Establish and maintain policies and procedures for managing contracts and agreements.Manage tender processes, contract renewals, and supply agreements in consultation with managers.Maintain a comprehensive contracts database, including supplier compliance, police checks, insurance, and registration details.Handle complaints related to contracted suppliers, addressing issues directly with the suppliers.Ensure all health and safety standards are evaluated and incorporated into contracts and supply agreements.Monitor contractors' health and safety performance in collaboration with managers.Implement procedures for safe disposal of materials and substances, minimising risk to health and safety.Skills and Knowledge requirement to be successful in this role: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong critical analysis, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.Advanced negotiation and commercial acumen.Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with strong administrative skills and attention to detail.Commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.Minimum of 5 years' experience in purchasing and contract management/negotiation roles.Experience in a service-based industry is preferred.Work Health and Safety
