Be part of something bigger at Suncorp.Procurement Leader - Recruitment and LabourGreat opportunity to utilise your procurement experience in a complex environmentCollaborative and supportive teamHybrid and flexible working opportunities, great benefitsOverview of the roleThis is a great opportunity for a procurement professional to deliver procurement category management across the Suncorp Group, focusing on recruitment & labour hire, and IT software services.You will develop category plans and strategies, subsequent sourcing/negotiation initiatives and ongoing management of the existing contract portfolio.Whilst this role is initially supporting recruitment and labour, a background in some professional services procurement would be beneficial as the function goes through transformation.You will need resilience and strong communication skills with the ability to hold tough conversations, in return you will work within a great team environment providing you with the support you need for this challenging role.What you'll do:Developing and implementing category plans, sourcing strategies and/or negotiation strategiesGather appropriate market and industry intelligence about categories in scopeManage a category of existing suppliers and contracts including analysis of existing contracts and current spendIdentify initiatives that derive benefits, through sourcing, demand management and/or contract management opportunitiesPrioritise initiatives according to business criticality, capacity requirements, inter-dependencies and potential benefitsDefine appropriate supply models for each category of spendAlign Supplier and Suncorp processes to drive efficiencies for both partiesProvide single point representation and relationship management for Procurement for Recruitment and Labour Hire servicesWhat you'll bring:Experienced procurement professional with minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement. MandatoryExperience with recruitment and labour hire services type agreements. DesiredExperience in large organisations with complex environments. MandatoryExperience in a centralised procurement/commercial environment providing services to a broad customer base. MandatoryExperienced in achieving and being accountable for tangible commercial results. MandatoryExperience in delivering quality outputs within tight timeframes within a standardised project management framework and structured procurement approach.
