Are you an experienced Process Operator/Supervisor with plant operations experience looking to join a team making a significant impact?Perhaps you're in between roles or keen to make extra money doing shift work.Your Challenge You will join a team responsible for overseeing construction, commissioning activities, and daily operations for a process demonstration plant at a power station on the Central Coast of NSW.In this role, you will manage the site acceptance and storage of equipment required for installation as part of the demonstration project, supervise the installation process, and provide necessary support to ensure successful completion.You will work closely with the company's research and development team to ensure safe process operations, meet established test programs and campaigns, and adhere to site and process regulations.The business You will join an industry leader in carbon capture technology, currently finalising a process demonstration plant at a power station on the Central Coast of NSW.With over 20 years of experience in the chemical and processing industries, they have pioneered innovative approaches to tackling the global carbon capture challenge.They are offering a temporary role within their team to support their demonstration project.This position will involve shift work, including night shifts, and provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a team making a significant impact while offering an attractive remuneration package.About You You are a well-seasoned Process Operator/ Supervisor with prior plant operations experience.However, relevant experience in related roles, such as leading hand or shift supervisor in a processing facility, fitter and turner for industrial projects, extensive work with HVAC or other process-related equipment, or broader experience in process engineering, will also be considered.You thrive working independently, have a solid commitment to WHS, and are known as a dependable team member.You are an excellent communicator with a general construction induction card (white card).What Next This role is being recruited by NewyTechPeople.
