Southern Adelaide Local Health Network, Corporate Services – Workforce Services Salary: $106,512 to $115,137 – ASO7 – Full Time / 12-month Term Contract An exciting opportunity to be part of the new Southern Area Health Direction, join us as we create the workforce of the future for SALHN and make a real contribution to the health services of the community. The Workforce Strategist plays an instrumental role in the development of SALHN workforce strategy and planning to meet the workforce requirement now and for the future infrastructure projects.
About the role: Reporting to the Manager Strategic Workforce and HR Systems, you will contribute to workforce planning by identifying the service demand, the workforce required to meet the service need, and the ways in which the workforce supply will be met and maintained. The role will include:
Delivering support and advice to operational workforce planning across the network Providing expert advice on the development and implementation of key retention and deployment strategies to support critical skill shortage areas and strategic priority areas for the network Identify innovative and contemporary solutions and opportunities in conjunction with other key stakeholders Collaborate with the professional leads to ensure the provision of workforce strategies that support local workforce plans and initiatives About you: You will have experience in leading contemporary workforce planning strategies and initiatives in a changing environment. You will also have:
High level interpersonal skills which result in effective collaboration with peers, staff and stakeholders Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a timely manner, working independently under broad direction only. Demonstrated ability to manage projects, including identifying performance outcomes, planning activities and setting priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlines Knowledge of the legislative frameworks within which workforce management operates Application Closing Date: 11.55 pm Sunday 6 October 2024
