ABOUT PERTH OFFICE South32's corporate office is based in the heart of Perth's CBD. The corporate office houses key functions including HR, Finance, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Group Risk and Technical. Our office is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the Perth Underground Train Station.

We understand and value the benefits of flexibility and operate a hybrid work model (in the office and from home).
The Principal, Reward Governance role oversees legislative compliance for South32 Reward and Benefit processes globally. This includes, in conjunction with the Payroll Governance and HR Information Systems teams, ensuring processes, system configuration and payments reflect country legislation, contractual entitlements and design intent.
Reporting to the Group Manager, Reward and Benefits, key responsibilities include:
Govern the data and system compliance for all Reward and Benefit (including Global Mobility) processes, ensuring they meet legislative requirements and design intent.Coordinate reward benchmarking processes, determining pay based on external market data, including interacting with providers, completing salary surveys, and analysing market data.Manage and advance our reward and benefit external disclosure framework.Complete HR Projects as required and maintain awareness of changing legislation in all countries we have a presence, and its impact on reward and benefits.ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Relevant qualifications in Commerce, Human Resources or related disciplines.Ability to analyse and interpret complex and dynamic data sets from multiple sources of information, ideally in reward and benefits.Familiarity with legislation and interpreting its impact on company policy and practice.Ability to communicate complex ideas/concepts in simple terms.High level of attention to detail.Numerate and analytical.South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
