The opportunity:

In the role of Principal Project Officer, you'll play a pivotal part in delivering infrastructure projects that meet the standards for the Games while ensuring community-focused outcomes for years to come.
Your leadership will help coordinate complex projects, manage stakeholders, and deliver innovative solutions in alignment with the Games legacy strategy, Elevate 2042.

Key responsibilities include: Lead and support the planning and delivery for designated venues, precincts and facilities;Collaborating with stakeholders, including government agencies and venue owners;Contribute to establishing and maintaining frameworks and controls for performance, risk, and issue management across the program;Ensuring compliance with Games standards and maximising community legacy goals;Managing budgets, contracts, and project schedules to ensure seamless delivery;Contributing to reporting and strategic input into the Games' broader infrastructure planning.Required Experience:

We are seeking an experienced project professional with a strong background in infrastructure delivery and an ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience in managing infrastructure or major events projects or programs;Expertise in budget, scope, risk, resource and contract management for complex initiatives;Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, including government relations;Demonstrated ability to deliver results in high-pressure, fast-paced environments;Knowledge of sustainability and legacy-focused project outcomes is advantageous;Specific experience in the planning, development, and delivery of major events or sporting infrastructure would be well regarded.Benefits:
