Principal Project Manager

THE ROLEAs the Principal Project Officer, you will lead and manage the design and implementation of a large-scale infrastructure project at assigned department locations, ensuring successful delivery by sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal service providers. Success in this role will involve completion within agreed performance criteria that will contribute to positive patient and business outcomes.EXPERIENCEInfrastructure Project Planning: Proven ability to develop and maintain an infrastructure project plan considering multiple site deployments, sub-contractor program schedules, standards compliance, physical/environmental constraints, procurement, and other technical activities required to deliver successful infrastructure uplift projects.Infrastructure Project Delivery: Five or more years' experience in the delivery of infrastructure uplifts in large, complex 24 x 7 organizations, preferably in the health care sector, and managing large project budgets.Governance and Assurance: Proven experience in effective governance, presenting to Project Boards, project and technical assurance (including Quantity Surveyor and Superintendent liaison), benefits management, lessons learned, change management, and performance management that contributes to the overall achievement of infrastructure projects.REQUIREMENTSRelevant degree or qualifications in Information Communication and Technology or construction-related disciplines would be highly desirable.A current foundation/practitioner certification in one or more of the following AXELOS methodologies:PRINCE2 project management methodologyMSP program management methodology.Experience in construction and/or refurbishment projects.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities, please contact Jack McDougall at 07 3339 5611 or email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and people living with a disability.
