The OpportunityAs the Principal Mechanical Engineer - Mining, you will be integral to lead and grow our mechanical technical discipline, ensuring profitability, timely delivery and client satisfaction. You will assist in the development and implementation of the business plan and contribute to growing the Energy & Resources Business. The Principal Mechanical Engineer - Mining also provides technical leadership to complex multi-disciplinary mining projects. This involves:

QualificationsTo be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in engineering – Mechanical.Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible technical and management experience.Professional registration and commitment to gain appropriate Australian registration.Project Management experience and certifications.Development of a strong network in the local and national marketplace.Exceptional organisational, technical, leadership, written and oral communication skills.Proven experience in successfully delivering complex projects, working with high performing teams.Excellent organisation and time management skills are a given, along with a high level of financial competency, and an ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task to ensure deadlines are achieved.Primary Location: Australia-Queensland-Fortitude Valley
