Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and driven Principal Hydrogeologist to join their team in Perth. As a vital part of the organization, you will oversee and manage projects, offer technical expertise, and build client relationships. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned expert aiming to contribute to significant projects and drive important outcomes.
Key Responsabilities (Open for Discussion) Oversee and manage hydrogeological projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Offer technical proficiency in groundwater evaluations, including aquifer characterization, modeling, and remediation strategies. Conduct field research, data analysis, and interpretation to meet project goals. Draft detailed technical reports, presentations, and proposals for clients and regulatory bodies. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, environmental scientists, and geologists. Build and maintain strong client relations through effective communication, proactive engagement, and exceptional service. Qualifications A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in hydrogeological consulting, with a proven ability to manage complex projects. Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Hydrogeologist however not mandatory) is preferred. Proficiency in hydrogeological modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW) and GIS tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to varied audiences. Demonstrated leadership skills including project management, team collaboration, and client relationship management. - A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and environmental compliance standards in Western Australia.
