Job Description
Reporting to our Financial Controller, we have an excellent opportunity for a Principal - Group Accounting to join our corporate finance team located in Creek Street, Brisbane. You will:
Lead a small finance team ensuring accurate and timely completion of the Group's account reconciliations, as well as centralised and corporate month-end close activities.
Manage and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, overseeing month-end SAP processing.
Support site commercial teams with their month-end processes as needed, including Lease and Rehabilitation accounting models and associated reviews.
Assist with SG&A budget and forecasting processes.
Assist with ASX and regulatory reporting requirements, including successful completion of all internal and external audit requirements.
Qualifications
To be a success, you will need:
Qualified CIMA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years in financial accounting, ideally in a similar Accounting Manager role.
Proven experience in preparation and review of complex account reconciliations.
Ability to lead a team.
Proficiency in accounting software, ideally SAP S4HANA.
