Full time Salary: $161,370 - $174,663 + 15.4% Superannuation
The duties and responsibilities for this role include providing a broad range of legal services to the department's Skills and Training Group as set out under the heading "the Role" and demonstrating the capabilities listed under the heading "Capabilities" below. The duties and responsibilities for this role will also include complying with obligations in Commonwealth legislation and policies where relevant, for example in the Public Service Act 1999 and the Legal Services Directions 2017.
We are seeking individuals with the following skills and capabilities:
Can effectively deliver the broad range of legal services to the department's Skills and Training Group (including those set out under the heading "the Role"). Provides strong leadership and management of staff (including developing staff capability, providing strategic direction to a work area and managing the health and wellbeing of staff). Strong oral communication skills and highly developed written communication skills (including the ability to clearly articulate technical legal arguments and draft sound legal advice). Sound judgment and ability to think creatively and analytically to deliver innovative client-focussed solutions. The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and the Minister's office. Can effectively manage competing priorities within short timeframes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
