Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)
Government - State (Government & Defence) Full time The role:
You will be responsible for engaging and communicating effectively with stakeholders at every level (Director, Data Manager, Team Lead, Clinicians, and end users) to ensure a complete understanding of the business is known.
You will need to proactively encourage critical discussions with the right stakeholders to fully comprehend the important aspects of the client's needs and ensure all facets are examined.
This is important for interpreting and translating technical possibilities into clinical suitability.
You will also be responsible for capturing and analysing "As-Is" and "To-Be" business process models and capturing the business requirements to ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
You will ensure requirements are captured and addressed in the transition of the service from Project to Business-As-Usual while providing Business Analysis functions at the Program level as required.
Additionally, you will contribute to an effective client-focused team and work collaboratively to initiate, influence, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated experience leading and managing business analysis activities within IM/ICT projects, preferably in the health care industry.
You will also have proven experience leading business process modelling activities for large organisations, preferably using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
A high level of knowledge and the ability to provide advice on the application of appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies, and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 3.0 (BABOK) is essential.
You will have the proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders, including mentoring other business analysts within the organisation.
Proven effective consultation, facilitation, written, and oral communication skills for use in a project environment are essential.
ICT Infrastructure experience in a health setting and applications integration experience is preferred but not mandatory.
