Details of the offer

Working at Transurban is different; it's a place where you can see the benefits of your work play out in real life, every day. We create city-sized solutions—building and operating safer, smarter, and more sustainable roads.
At the centre of Transurban are its customers and we are focused on meeting their needs. As such, the Linkt Rewards program is expanding to deliver customers an exceptional experience and more value. We're looking for people to join a new team with a start-up mindset, that are excited about delivering something new and will help us grow customer advocacy.
About the role
We're seeking a Principal Analyst - Loyalty to perform and oversee analytics activities within the Rewards team and work with partner teams. Your expertise will play a key role in establishing a rewards data platform that assists strategic goals, compliance and enhances data capabilities.
You'll join an innovative team that seeks to deliver exceptional experiences for members, and meaningful savings on their everyday expenses.
As our Principal Analyst - Loyalty, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and root causes of issues, and to identify business opportunities
Translate complex data and analysis into clear, concise and actionable insights
Conduct member segmentation analysis to identify key customer segments and their behaviours
Provide insights into member preferences and trends to support targeted marketing efforts
Analyse customer feedback and survey data to identify areas for program improvement
Perform and provide guidance, coaching and support to team members
Develop and manage procedures for integrating data from various sources, ensuring seamless aggregation and alignment with business needs
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
Deep experience in data analysis, preferably within a loyalty or rewards program context
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, precise and actionable manner
Extensive experience in manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources and data visualization
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills coupled with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment
If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
With a career at Transurban, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
A range of flexible working and leave options, including the option to purchase an additional six weeks of leave each year.
16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), with no waiting period, with Superannuation paid during unpaid leave as well.
Learning and development opportunities to support your career interests.
Health and wellbeing support—access to Headspace and our EAP program, wellness facilities, and more.
Share offers and insurance benefits.
Social activities, community give-back programs and paid volunteer days.
We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests. Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you.
We embrace diversity with a foundation of safety, wellbeing and inclusion; where everyone belongs. We treat everyone with fairness, consideration and respect, regardless of gender, gender identity, marital or family status, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious beliefs, cultural or socio-economic background, perspective, and experience – whether they work for us or not. We want to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe to express ideas, questions and concerns.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people living with disability. If you require any adjustments or support during the recruitment process, please contact us on
