**The essential requirements for this role are**:

- Experience and understanding of the assessment risk management and case management of high risk sexual and violent offenders.
- Demonstrated ability and understanding of offender assessment intervention and treatment planning.
- Community engagement, key stakeholder liaison and/or working with special interest groups.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor and encourage others to meet high standards.
- Team leader experience with a sound knowledge and implementation of human resource policies and procedures to support team delivery, as well as the provision of advice and guidance to staff, including addressing performance issues as / if required,
- Resource management experience in allocating, monitoring, and ensuring tasks are completed to required standards and protocols
- Confidence to address performance and/or delivery issues and manage ensuing action plans
- Experience in change management, problem solving and continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements\ There are no mandatory qualifications for the position. However, a tertiary degree in psychology, social work or related discipline would be highly regarded.
This recruitment will also be used to fill temporary short-term vacancies over the next 12 months with the possibility of extension.
