Job Description
J.N. & R. Engineering Pty. Limited are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Pressure Welder to join their team in Kyabram VIC 3620. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Adhere to WHSAbility to read and interpret drawings to a high standard and recognising pressure welding specificationsSet up equipment and weld parts, using appropriate pressure welding equipment and methodsProficiency in all types of pressure weldingAbility to use Heavy machinery such as Booms & Scissor LiftsWeld and repair pressure vessels and tanks to relevant standards and high quality.Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machinesShaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammeringAligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instrumentsJoining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and rivetingExamining welds for width of bead, penetration and precisionFinishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutionsCleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grindingSkills and Abilities: Certificate III in Engineering-Fabrication Trade or equivalentIdeally have a minimum of 3 years' experienceSalary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.
