Canberra Heart Rhythm Centre is a specialised Cardiac Electrophysiology clinic in Canberra, dedicated to patients with heart rhythm disorders.We are looking for an experienced professional to join our busy specialist Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology (Canberra Heart Rhythm) medical practice in Canberra. We are a large team made up of dynamic and enthusiastic professionals and are looking for a keen individual to join us. We utilise both individual and team-based work to provide an excellent standard of care to patients.Overview of the position:The Practice Manager will be responsible for the overall workflow and efficiency of the practice, staff performance, practice performance, marketing, profits, and expenses.Responsibilities:All day-to-day troubleshooting of equipmentPatient complaints and enquiriesStaff leave and unavailabilityChanges to rosteringUrgent clinical requestsPrimarily attending to Prof Pathak's requirementsThe Practice Manager will work closely with all departments and managers to improve efficiency, workflow, staff and practice performance, whilst providing individuals an opportunity to excel, seek career growth, job satisfaction, job stability, and job security.The Practice Manager will also be responsible for overseeing practice policies and procedures, budgets and financial reports, staff and patient satisfaction reviews, developing training programs and resources, generating and maintaining contracts, and managing the operations of the business.This person should be a responsible leader with the ability to handle ongoing changes in a busy and fast-paced environment, cope under pressure, and utilize analytical and strategic skills.Academic and trade qualifications:First aid certificateBachelor of Business AdministrationCertificate IV in Business AdministrationCertificate III in Business Administration (Medical) or Certificate III in Health AdministrationDiploma of Practice ManagementMaster of Business AdministrationMajor or minor units in human resources, economics, management, and accountingCompletion of courses in complaint handling, communication, and staff conflict resolutionWork experience and skills:Minimum two years general administration/reception experienceMinimum two years as Practice Manager in a medical or health-related fieldBasic understanding of cardiology and electrophysiologyProficient use of Microsoft SuiteProficient use of DeputyExperience working within a medical practice or corporate business at a high ranking such as line manager or team supervisorProven experience in similar roles or responsibilities such as Head of Operations, Practice Manager, Team Leader, or similar leadership roleExtensive knowledge of Healthtrack Medical SystemExperience updating contracts and position descriptionsExperience establishing training programs and manualsPersonal qualities and behavioural traits:High attention to detailExcellent verbal and written skillsAbility to handle professional conflictTime management skills and organisation to meet deadlinesStrong work ethic and determined attitudePatience and ability to deal with complex personal and professional situationsStrong ability to listen, show empathy and understandingAbility to work autonomously with and without guidanceAnalytical and problem-solving aptitudePositive attitude with strong ability to motivate and encourage the teamIf you have any further questions about this job opportunity or the roles and responsibilities involved, please don't hesitate to reach out to ******
