You bring you.The OpportunityOur Class Actions team acts for clients to secure justice in some of the nation's most prominent Class Actions, including the Stolen Wages and Stolen Generations class actions, and the Ruby Princess class action. The national team is led by two highly-experienced Joint Heads of Class Actions, and assisted by a dedicated team Practice Leaders, Special Counsels, Senior Associates and other legal professionals. And as a permanent Practice Leader in our Melbourne-based practice, you'll be on the frontline as we doggedly seek justice.With compassion, connection and purpose, you'll truly champion our clients by:Mentoring and leading a team of Special Counsels and Senior Associates, driving the consistent application of client service and technical legal excellence.Driving a collegiate and respectful culture of high performance, quality, continuous improvement, and employee care across the Class Actions team.Delivering successful outcomes on important class actions that are aligned to the firm's strategy.Originating new class action opportunities and securing the funding for these matters.What you'll bringTo thrive in this role, you'll have:Significant experience as a class actions solicitor.Experience securing funding for class actions with litigation funders.Desire to or experience mentoring and/or leading teams.Strong legal analytical skills, research skills, and attention to detail.Ability to work with and manage large volumes of complex documents and reports.A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.The passion, motivation and enthusiasm to contribute to our culture and ensure it's a place where everyone can thrive.Shine Lawyers: A place for you.
