Power BI Analyst About the role: Looking for a Power BI Developer or Analyst to work with this global mining and resource organisation for a 3-month contract.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and clarify business requirements, offering expert consultation and alternative solutions where needed.
You will help troubleshoot their Microsoft data analytics solutions and help deliver data extracts, reports, and dashboards using MS Power BI and enterprise BI tools, ensuring high data quality.
This role is based in Newcastle with a client in the resource and mining sector.
It is a shorter-term 3-month contract.
What you'll bring: You will bring at least 3-5 years of commercial experience in a business intelligence or data analytics-related role.
You should have proficiency in data extraction, modelling, transformation, and visualisation techniques using tools such as SQL and Power BI.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver data extracts, reports, dashboards, or any alternate asset from an enterprise data warehouse using the available BI tools.
