This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities.The role involves preparing and planning work packages to ensure the successful delivery of the program of works. Key responsibilities include:Analysing project specifications and drawings.Preparing and revising construction schedules.Coordinating with designers, engineers, and contractors.Monitoring project progress and providing updates to management.Additional responsibilities include:Prepare and maintain the Project delivery program requirements.Provide all program information to update the 4D model.Program all Authorities requirements and attend meetings as required.Provide strategic advice on the impact of design changes to the programmed activities.Report to the Project Management Office on a regular basis or as required.Develop short- and long-term programs.Ensure Milestones are maintained and updated on a regular basis.Prepare end of month progress reports.Update and maintain the critical path reporting.Provide dashboard reports on specific key trade data to support monthly reporting.Evaluate subcontractor Claims (EoT) and support the Commercial Team.Provide cashflow forecasts to Client.Attend all planning meetings and provide mark ups and drawings to evaluate and review programs.Visit sites as required to assess the most safe and efficient delivery methodology.What you'll bring:Australian citizenship preferred for Defence site entry requirements.Engineering degree and minimum Certificate III in power, project management or other relevant qualification.A minimum of 10 years working knowledge of construction, maintenance, planning/scheduling work.An excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow preparation.An excellent understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to planning.More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.This exciting role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a highly successful organisation.
