Reporting to the Site Supervisor in Queensland, this role is responsible for coordinating all fuel pipeline transfers between external suppliers and internal operations at the Quantem site. You will ensure quality assurance, safe delivery, operational efficiency, and favourable commercial outcomes. A key aspect of this position is building strong partnerships with customers to gain a deep understanding of their needs, allowing you to lead and implement resource solutions that enhance safety and operational effectiveness while meeting their requirements. The position entails the following responsibilities:Coordinate all site fuel transfers, including pipeline transfers, slops management, sampling, field and laboratory testing, truck loading/unloading, shipping, and tank cleaning.Collaborate with customers to develop forecasts for pipeline transfers, product quantities, and logistics, ensuring resources are in place to meet service needs.Conduct driver inductions and supervise loading operations.Balance competing priorities to implement resource solutions that achieve effective outcomes for customers.Ensure all fuel-related standard operating procedures are up-to-date and periodically reviewed.Train new and inexperienced operators in fuel operations, following the site training matrix to ensure safety and competence.Schedule work in compliance with the Safety Management System, including necessary permits and addressing safety and environmental issues.Report and address non-conformances, incidents, and improvements within defined timeframes.Manage fuel waste streams and complete terminal checklists as required.To be considered for the position, candidates are required to have the following experience and qualifications:Demonstrated professional experience (circa 5 years+) in fuel related operations and/or bulk liquids terminal.Ability to communicate effectively verbally & written will all levels of stakeholders.Understanding and experience in operational risks and mitigations.Demonstrated track record of instilling a safety culture.Track record of building partnering relationships and credibility with business stakeholders.Energised by working in an agile way and being part of multi-disciplinary teams to achieve Quantem?s goals.Experience in championing continuous process improvements and structured quality/safety programs is desirable.Previous leadership experience across operations and logistics within a self-managed team environment with competing priorities is desirable.WHATS IN IT FOR YOUJoin Quantem for a rewarding career, where our Vision, Purpose, and Values guide us to strive to be an employer of choice in the bulk liquid storage industry.
