This role is located in Nowra on the south coast of New South Wales. Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) options within Australia may be offered to the right candidate. This exciting and challenging role involves delivering advanced airborne Electronic Warfare (EW) training, test and certification to Air, Land, Maritime and industry task units in support of the Australian Defence Force. This capability is delivered through the operation of Raytheon Australia's two highly modified Special Mission Aircraft. You will work with an experienced team on the nation's most complex technical programs and help underpin the success of mission critical projects of the Australian Defence Force. Key Responsibilities Form part of the flight crew of our special mission EW Learjet 35 A aircraft Assist the Head of Operations in maintaining a safe and effective working environment Act as Deployment Commander on a rotation basis with other aircrew Contribute to tactical operating procedures and standards for EW flight operations Conduct deployments in support of domestic and international exercises as required Skills, Experiences and Qualifications CASA Part 61 Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane), Valid CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate and be eligible to obtain a current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) CASA Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, Low Level Rating (Aeroplane), Formation Flying Flight Activity Endorsement (Aeroplane) and Instrument Rating (Multi Engine Aircraft (MEA) with Instrument Approach Procedure (IAP) 2 D and IAP 3 D) Minimum of 500 hours Pilot In Command (PIC) 6 years minimum flying experience as a pilot in military aviation operations Military pilot fast jet experience (or civilian equivalent such as supporting Defence Operations in similar role) is highly desirable Other CASA qualifications such as Flight Instructor, Flight Examiner or previous check and/or training experience would also be desirable Be eligible for or currently hold an AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance and have the ability to acquire a Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance This is your opportunity to play a key role in helping the Australian Defence Force maximise its capabilities.
