We currently have an exciting opportunity for a capable, service driven Team Leader (Leading Hand) to supervise a pick packing team at our Operations in Silverwater, Sydney.
We are looking for an individual with the following capabilities:
Experience in a pick packing environment essential.
Experience leading a small-medium size team preferred.
Ability to coordinate team activities efficiently and effectively.
Strong team player with good communication skills, fostering a great team culture.
Experience in the fresh produce industry is highly regarded.
Ambitious towards career development and progression.
Ability to work in an early morning capacity, (6am starts) (may require weekend work) Your key responsibilities as a Team Leader include:
Driving the WHS program, ensuring the team follow all appropriate safety systems and processes.
Ensuring orders are packed and picked according to all appropriate procedures.
Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames.
Collaborating with the quality department to ensure assurance and systems compliance.
Providing leadership and daily direction for staff.
