Job Summary The Inpatient Acute Care Cardiology Advanced Health Practitioner has clinical, procedural, administrative, and educational responsibilities in the care of patients requiring cardiac care.
Under the supervision of the Chief of Cardiology and the Heart & Vascular Manager for Inpatient Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers and the Director of Advanced Practice Nursing, the Cardiology Nurse Practitioner will have a critical role in the inpatient setting, with both team member and individual duties.
The salary range for this position is $78.62 - $105.82 (Hourly Rate).
Required Qualifications Minimum two (2) years inpatient cardiology/cardiovascular or related physician assistant experiencePossess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to successfully perform the duties of the assigned positionFlexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations and in varying schedules as outlinedPreferred Qualifications Basic cardiac point of care ultrasound skillsLicense/Certification Active and current California Physician Assistant License (PA).California driver's license (CDL) if required for position.Current national board certification by first day of work and maintain.Active and transferable DEA license to California and have evidence of transfer by 90th day of clinical practice.Complete an AAPA recognized graduate master's degree program as a physician assistant.Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through the credentialing process by first clinical day.Current AHA BLSCurrent AHA ACLSAbout UCSF At UCSF Health, our mission of innovative patient care, advanced technology and pioneering research is redefining what's possible for the patients we serve – a promise we share with the professionals who make up our team.
