Your opportunity
We seek a creative and dedicated Secondary Teacher who can deliver Certificate III in Visual Arts (Photography) to join our talented team in 2025.

Commencing on 20 January 2025, this position is part-time.
Relocation assistance is available.

Skills and experience
The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice and a passion and talent for photography.

The successful candidate will also be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College, and seek a role providing opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.

Essential qualifications and requirements
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching.
Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain).
Industry experience in Photography, or a Certificate IV or above in Visual Arts.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122.
Ability to successfully meet the requirements set down by the Registered Training Organisation to deliver the qualification, including maintaining industry experience.
Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College Able to affirm the College's Statement of Faith.
Able to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
Able to work with all members of the College community.
