About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist-in-Charge to join Slade Pharmacy on a part-time permanent basis, based at the Monash IVF Clinic in Cremorne, Melbourne. In this role, you will lead specialised IVF pharmacy services and support patients undergoing fertility treatment. As the primary pharmacist in the clinic, you will ensure patients receive expert advice, compassionate care, and access to medications.
This role offers ownership of a niche pharmacy service within a purpose-built fertility clinic, with high autonomy and support from the wider Slade Pharmacy and Icon Group network. It is ideal for a motivated pharmacist looking to develop leadership skills in a supportive environment.
You will work closely with fertility specialists, nurses, and health professionals, becoming an integral part of the fertility journey. Training will be provided, offering an opportunity to expand clinical knowledge in IVF and reproductive health.
Key ResponsibilitiesProviding counselling and education to patients on IVF medications and devicesDispensing and managing specialised fertility medicationsOverseeing daily pharmacy operations, workflow, and tasksCollaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless serviceAbout YouWe seek a motivated pharmacist with a proactive approach and passion for patient care. Leadership experience is a plus but not essential. No prior IVF experience is required as training will be provided. You should enjoy building relationships, working in a team, and seeking service improvements.
