This position provides assistance to the five Assistant Directors of Nursing and the Clinical Director of the Division of Medicine as required.
The position is required to prepare a range of correspondence, manage inboxes and calendars, provide secretariat support to committees, assist with human resource and financial management functions, research, and initiating action to ensure the timely response to requests.Applicants will need to be professional and have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills while adhering to CHS confidentiality policies and procedures.
It is expected that the Personal Assistant, Division of Medicine will have a strong understanding of the responsibilities and accountabilities of the functions of Ambulatory and Medical Inpatient Services.

Canberra Hospital Expansion Project – CHS is constructing a new critical services building called 'Building 5' which is a 44,000sqm nine storey building specifically designed to deliver state-of-the-art acute clinical services at the Canberra Hospital.
