Our client is a prominent Australian Company looking for an advisor to support a developing workforce for a fixed 6 month contract.
Join a growing People and Culture Department (HR) of a prominent Australian Company headquartered in Canberra ACT. The organisation has a large and complex workforce of 500+ and a strong relationship with the Australian Government and the Department of Defence. Due to a recent restructure within HR and Acquisitions teams, a new opportunity has been created to support the expansion of the workforce. This position will be an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension/permanency.
Your role as People & Talent Acquisition Advisor will support the Acquisitions team to focus recruitment in the areas where it is needed, with analysis of resourcing, recruitment market trends, screening of candidates and vendor management. You will be the support to candidates to optimize culture and engagement as well as potential career pathways.
What You Need
Experience: Up to 3 years experience in talent acquisition or development of culture roles and some experience in an engineering position. Education: Some relevant tertiary qualification or the willingness to acquire within the first 6 months and a baseline AGSVA clearance level. Skills in communication, analytical and problem solving, administration. Global and cultural awareness, ability to understand and care for candidates. What You Get:
