The roleThe People Systems Administrator oversees HR technology systems, providing services and solutions to diverse client groups. Responsibilities include system maintenance, integration, configuration, user access management, and data governance, collaborating with stakeholders to drive business improvements through People Systems.Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical support for system administration tasks such as user/group access, security permissions, and system interfaces.Customise HR functionality by configuring system components to develop forms, workflows, notifications, reports, and dashboards, ensuring high-quality outputs.Ensure team adherence to service level agreements and escalate system issues, recommending improvements based on trend monitoring.Lead system improvement initiatives and project activities, including testing application releases for seamless implementation and enhancement.Maintain data integrity through routine system audits, analysing data transfers between systems.Develop and maintain system governance collateral to manage risks and enhance team capabilities.Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise system development, including support for the P&C team.Coordinate with technical experts to onboard/offboard systems, ensuring compliance with protocols and quality documentation.Contribute to operational performance indicators, including reporting system metrics.Mentor team members and those aspiring to develop in system administration roles.What experience you'll bringPrior experience in implementing end-to-end HR systems.Proficiency in system service management, monitoring, and error handling.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Capability to develop comprehensive system support documentation in consultation with stakeholders.Focus on customer/user experience and adept at stakeholder relationship management.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with peers and technical experts.Desirable:Experience with UKG Ready HCM Product Suite, Aurion Payroll System, Org Chart Now, HRIS System Integrations, or similar HRIS systems.About usAuto & General (A&G) is the fastest-growing major Motor and Home insurer in Australia, providing insurance products and solutions to safeguard a brighter future for our customers and community.Our range of general insurance products including Car, Motorcycle, Home, Contents Pet and Travel products are delivered through our multi-award-winning brand Budget Direct and partnerships with leading brands - ING, Qantas, Virgin Money and Coles Insurance.We're excited about the future and we're always on the lookout for talented, passionate individuals who can help us achieve our goal of being Australia's best insurer!
