Are you experienced in administration, systems and enjoy supporting learning & development outcomes?

Council's focus on growing our own through professional development has prompted the need for this newly redesigned role.

We seek a dedicated individual with excellent time management and organisation skills to join our Learning & Development team.
You will have a keen focus on relationship building through a people focussed approach and have an aptitude for maintaining training and HR systems.

The Learning & Development Assistant is responsible for:
Supporting the operation of the Learning & Development function by coordinating administrative and system maintenance activities to streamline relevant processes Assisting with course coordination as outlined in Council's Corporate Training Plan Coordinating the sign up, monitoring and maintenance of Apprenticeships and Traineeships, including monitoring progression through course requirements, liaising with relevant stakeholders as appropriate and processing employer incentives Monitor and maintain employee accreditations ensuring a robust record keeping process TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
A Certificate IV in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar, or equivalent relevant experience.

Salary range: Grade 10 - $65,677.17 - $71,072.43 per annum plus 11.50% superannuation for a 35 hour work week.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
