What is the role? We're seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join our Brisbane Head Office.
In this role, you will play a critical part in driving Lorna Jane's people strategy by partnering with leaders of the business to provide guidance on HR best practices, leadership development, and people management.
What You'll be doing As our People Business Partner you'll:
Provide your customer group with sound, accurate and compliant HR advice in line with legislation and awardPartner with your customer group and the broader business to provide coaching, mentoring and recommendations that lift capability and influence changeLead by example to champion the values across the businessSupport leaders within in the business to hold their team accountable through effective people management processes and adviceLead, support and drive new initiatives across the business that set us apart from the normInterrogate business process and ways of working to always look to be more efficient and productiveAct as a leader within the business and the People team that creates a culture of success by developing others to drive high performanceEnsure agreed actions within your customer group are followed through and delivered on in a timely mannerProvide your customer group with relevant and engaging communication where it is requiredIdentify opportunities to lift engagement within your customer group through people initiatives or new ways of workingSupport the broader people team with initiatives or tasks to ensure as a team, we are able to deliver on our objectivesWho We're Looking For We're seeking someone who has:
3 + years' experience in HR Generalist/Business Partner roleKnowledge and understanding of employment related legislation and Award interpretationPeople leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive changeThe ability to effectively partner with all levels of leadership within the businessEffective time management to plan and organise with competing prioritiesExceptional employment relations case management experience including complex and difficult mattersRobust problem-solving skills and decision makingAbility to communicate effectively and with intentionOur Commitment to you At Lorna Jane, we're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and included.
