About the Role As a Commercial & Enterprise Account Manager at Pentanet, you'll join a collaborative, high-energy team dedicated to supporting a network of established channel partners and handling direct client leads. While you'll manage sales for NBN and Pentanet fixed-wireless services, your primary focus will be on higher-revenue solutions, including Pentanet Business Fibre, Custom Point-to-Point links, Co-location, and Cloud offerings. This role is ideal for a seasoned relationship manager with experience in Telecommunications, Cloud, or Managed Services.
What You'll Do Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll be responsible for nurturing a portfolio of channel partners—helping them maintain their existing services while assisting them with new projects and growth opportunities. Additionally, you'll have the freedom and incentive to seek out direct leads and drive new business through a generous commission structure and a variety of direct and indirect marketing initiatives.
In this role, you will: Negotiate and close sales opportunities with new and existing clients, aligning with revenue and gross profit targets to drive business growth. Serve as the main point of contact for our channel partners, offering support, guidance, and insights on Pentanet's products and services to help maximise their potential. Work closely with partners to uncover new sales opportunities, identifying ways to enhance value within their client bases and maximise revenue generation. Represent Pentanet at industry networking events, fostering relationships with channel partners and clients to build long-term connections. Build a pipeline of self-generated leads through strategic business development, market research, and networking activities to support the company's growth targets. Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful, commercially focused campaigns that drive high-value leads and high gross profit opportunities. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing customer base, fostering lasting relationships and maximising revenue potential. Contribute to the ongoing development of Pentanet's Channel and Wholesaler program, driving continuous improvement and market relevance. Finding new leads, following up with warm leads, and closing deals are where you shine. Organised and Detail-Oriented : You keep track of account activities, sales pipelines, and customer needs with ease, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for clients. Collaborative : You know the importance of teamwork and can communicate effectively across different teams, from marketing to technical support, to ensure a high-quality customer journey. What we're looking for:  Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar industry  Account Relationship experience  Working knowledge of the Perth & National channel partner network (tech/telecommunications)  Experience working with cloud products and a knowledge of cloud GPU infrastructure  Proven track record of consistently achieving goals and demonstrated sales success experience  Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and goal orientated  Strong solution-sales skills  Exceptional presentation and communication skills  Good time management, organisational and prioritisation skills Previous B2B, Sales or Account management role Prior experience in telecommunications, cloud, tech vendor or MSP industry  Sound like you?
