Current opportunity The purpose of this role is to provide outsourced payroll and related services to our clients, complementing our other in-house offerings across: • Employer compliance services • Salary packaging, reward and remuneration services • Expatriate and mobility services • Migration services • Human resources consulting • Centralised co-ordination services.
Currently, our services are primarily related to fulfilling the needs of existing clients across our organisation and network, however we are seeking to expand delivery of these services to clients of our firm not currently utilising these services as well as targeting new clients.
Duties and Responsibilities • Managing a customised portfolio of clients and overseeing the delivery of payroll related services to existing clients • Working with the Payroll Manager to deliver outstanding service in an outsourced payroll environment in order to provide a centre of excellence • Preparing all payroll calculations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail are adhered to at all times and delivered in a timely manner • Manage day to day client matters and identify any potential to expand service offerings • Attending to or facilitating client query responses in the appropriate manner • Planning and managing payroll transitions or implementations from other providers where required • Facilitating compliance with current legislation such as superannuation, Payroll Tax, PAYG and terminations • Follow and maintain a consistent approach to payroll processing for all clients with a strong focus on documentation for each client.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience required • Achieves successful outcomes through clear and effective communications and the ability to collaborate with others • Strong commitment to quality service and client relationships • Assumes responsibility and accountability, achieves buy in • Organises time and resources to achieve aims • Is willing and driven, takes a proactive approach • Ability to work autonomously • Strong attention to detail • Aptitude for numbers • Presents self in a professional manner • 2-3 years' extensive payroll experience.
Experience with Software programs required • Solid payroll system experience, preferably with SaaS • Proficient in Microsoft office package.
