Payroll OfficerJob no: 497477Work type: Full-timeLocation: WA - Perth MetroCategories: Civil Engineering, Construction, MiningThe RoleSeeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in our Subiaco Head Office.This position is responsible for performing all activities necessary to process two or more payrolls, including maintaining related records. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is flexible and proactive in their work style.Responsibilities include:Establish and maintain accurate weekly payroll processes using PayGlobal and TimeTarget (end-to-end payroll)Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changesMaintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminationsReview timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepanciesPrepare end-of-month reportingAssist in managing and processing superannuation contributions and state payroll taxInterpret and review enterprise agreements and awardsCommunicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operationsLiaise with, and support the HR and Finance teamsWork closely with Payroll Manager to improve data capture and processing efficiencies within payrollThe successful applicant will ideally have:Previous experience in a similar roleExperience in Payroll ProcessingExperience with PayGlobal or TimeTarget (preferable but not essential)Experience working with Enterprise Agreements is an advantageGood communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamworkA positive attitude towards safety, training & environmentExcellent computer and Microsoft application skillsAbout UsSRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
