About the Role As the Payroll Manager, you'll oversee all payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the organisation. This role requires a combination of technical payroll expertise and extensive leadership skills to maintain a smooth, compliant, and transparent payroll process.
Key Responsibilities Leading and coaching a team of 2 people. Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to continuously improve payroll processes. Direct end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll for all employees. Ensure payroll compliance with relevant regulatory standards, awards, and legislation. Handle payroll-related tax matters and superannuation, maintaining accurate records. Develop payroll reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making. Provide guidance and support to the payroll team, addressing payroll-related queries and challenges. Key Requirements Demonstrated experience in payroll management with a compliance-driven approach. Comprehensive knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, tax, superannuation, and awards. Proficiency in payroll software and a track record of managing complex payrolls. Systems management including upgrades and development. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders. Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, particularly within a regulatory framework. Why Join Them?
