Payroll Manager

About the Company Our client is a Queensland-based infrastructure owner and operator.
Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking a Payroll leader to manage their fortnightly payroll of 700 employees, with the assistance of two Payroll Officers.
This is an interim temporary position for approximately 2 months, to start ASAP, with potential for a permanent offer.
The Offer - 2 days per week work-from-home flexibility Casual temporary rate equivalent to $120 000 to $130 000 plus super Modern offices in a handy city location Potential for permanency About the Role As the Payroll leader, your responsibilities will include – Ensuring payroll is completed to deadline Year End reconciliations and reporting Providing advice and support to stakeholders in relation to the interpretation and application legislation, polices and enterprise agreements Governance and reporting Payroll system configuration and maintenance Implementation of payroll controls Ongoing improvement of the payroll systems, workflows and processes About You We are seeking a candidate with - Extensive experience of payroll systems In-depth payroll knowledge Previous supervisory experience Ability to recognise payroll errors A focus on continuous improvement Please apply by upload your current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
