This well-established Australian commercial business is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to cover a 2-year secondment.
About the Role Commencing in January 2025, in this position you will be leading a team of 6 Payroll Officers to complete payroll processing.
You responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Supervision of the payroll team Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of a payroll consisting of full and part-time, fixed term and casual employees.
Overseeing calculations, including terminations and redundnacy payments, to ensure that they have been calculated correctly and entered to the system correctly.
Interpreting the EA and various Awards.
Ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
Integrity reporting and variance checking and reporting.
Answering high-end payroll related queries.
Payroll Tax Calculations for various states.
Ensuring EOM GL reconciliations are completed.
Ensuring STP file is lodged on time.
Ensuring Year End Process is completed.
About You As an experienced Payroll Manager, you will have overseen a team in a large payroll environment of +3000 employees.
You must have extensive knowledge of payroll legislation and requirements, the demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others, and clear and confident communication skills.
