WCCS is a ministry of Wyong Baptist Church, partnering with local churches to offer families a Christ-centred educational environment.About the RoleWe are seeking a Payroll and Finance Officer to join our Finance Team. In this newly created role, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll and accounts receivable services, supporting the school's operations with high standards of compliance and efficiency. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage end-to-end payroll, maintain records, oversee invoicing and debt management, and assist with financial reporting and audits.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess fortnightly payroll, including onboarding, terminations, superannuation payments, and leave.Oversee accounts receivable, including setting up family accounts, issuing invoices, and managing overdue accounts.Support the Finance Manager in operational finance tasks, including reporting, reconciliations, and audits.Provide guidance on enterprise agreement interpretation and support compliance with regulatory standards.Selection CriteriaThe ideal candidate will have a/an:Active Christian faith and regular attendance at a Christian Church.Demonstrated commitment to the vision, mission and values of WCCS including the Statement of Faith.Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualifications and experience in a relevant field.Substantial experience in payroll and accounts receivable with proficiency in finance systems (e.g. Xero) and the Microsoft suite.Current Working with Children Check and commitment to child safety in an education setting.Substantial skills and experience in:Planning and organisingAnalysingDelivering results and meeting customer expectationsAdhering to principles and valuesWorking with peopleHow to ApplyPlease submit the following documents:Cover LetterApplication FormResumeReview the full Role Description here.Submit your application with supporting documents by clicking 'Apply Now'.For further information, please contact the Finance Manager, Mrs. Julie Barlow, at (02) 4351 2020 or via email at ****** close: Monday 2 December 2024Please Note: Once your Application has been successfully submitted, you will receive an automated confirmation email.
