Eden Academy is committed to fostering a holistic and nurturing approach to childcare and early education, and none of it would be possible without the amazing efforts of our dedicated support office team.We're excited to welcome an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our family and play a key role in driving the success of our brand and delivering an exceptional customer experience.About Your New CareerAs a Payroll Administrator, you will be an important member of the Finance team, reporting to the Accounts Supervisor and working closely with the Recruitment Manager to ensure the smooth onboarding and payment of our valued staff members. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including: Processing of new employee contract requestsIssuing of employment contractsOnboarding of staff through our internal payroll systemsAssist fortnightly payroll processing for 1,200+ staff using Access MicropayAssist with maintaining our Time management System - Humanforce/TimeTargetLiaise with department managers to ensure timesheets are accurateCollect, calculate and enter data to maintain and update payroll informationResolving payroll discrepanciesPerform all necessary payroll checks and controls, including award interpretations as requiredManage Workcover claims from end to end, including providing payroll information, liaising with case officer, calculating payments required and communicating return to work plans to centresPrepare reports for the ECEC Grant, to ensure funding is received, once approvedA little about you:You're an experienced Payroll Administrator, with a collaborative approach to achieving the required outcomes, whilst maintaining a focus on clear communication and attention to detail. Minimum 2 years payroll experienceKnowledge and experience working with TimeTarget/Humanforce and Access Micropay. (Highly desirable)Computer literacy, particularly experience working with MS Office.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Modern Awards, particularly the Children's Services and Educational Teachers AwardAbility to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus on prioritiesEstablishing and maintaining effective working relationshipsHighly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence othersAppropriate Tertiary qualification - Accounting, Finance, Business or similar (Highly desirable)Why you'll enjoy working with us:At Eden Academy, we believe in creating a supportive and enjoyable workplace.
