About the role Reporting to the Sales Manager and Building Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting our customers through their design process, listening to their individual needs and ideas, customizing their build and showcasing their outdoor renovation into a 3D Design Plan. We have a brand-new showroom located at Warana to help with support and showcase the diverse products and unique design ideas we offer.
Your main responsibilities will include: Providing our customers with an exceptional custom design plan and selection experience, aligned to their specific needs and inclusions. Communicating an accurate pre-construction process and deadlines. Ensuring design plans are in line with engineering standards and Council regulations. Developing and maintaining Coastal Patios product knowledge and managing effective relationships with Certifiers, Coastal Patios Build Team and upholding our important team culture and reputation. Always uphold and implement Coastal Patios Core Values, self-driven and demonstrate responsibility for your own time management. Available to work in the hub (Warana office) when possible, to help implement team culture and positive work ethic. Demonstrated experience in design and sales within the patio construction industry. Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge using electronic design tools such as SketchUp, understanding engineering specific to the patio industry and undertaking precise measurements while including the customer in this process is highly desirable. Understanding of the building and patio construction industry and construction processes. Excellent organisational, planning and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to build positive relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people, providing the utmost respect when entering customer homes during the quoting process. Intermediate level of skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and email). Ability to respect and follow specific protocols and processes, adapt quickly to change and take in important updates and information to deliver the most accurate and informative quote.
