About the Role: This is a fulltime senior administrative role within the Laboratory Services Department leadership group. You will be responsible for leadership of RCH Laboratory Services Billing and Accounts team, providing expert knowledge and support to ensure the compliant timely submission of claims for pathology testing, together with all other business functions associated with revenue generation and reporting, and invoicing for the department.
What you'll achieve: Manage all Pathology Billing processes to ensure maximum revenue recovery within the regulatory guidelines.Lead the Pathology Accounts Team providing guidance, supervision and performance management of the accounts team.Produce timely and accurate reports which assist in analysis of all revenue categories.Provide expert advice, reasoned recommendations, options and solutions to accounts and revenue issues to the Medical Director, Strategy and Operations Director and Laboratory Services Business Manager.Classification for this position will be Administrative Officer Level 5.
Your skills and experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in patient revenue collection in a health care setting (preferably Pathology).A strong finance background particularly with accounts receivable function and revenue reporting is highly desirable.Relevant qualification in accounting or finance is highly desirable.If this sounds like you, click here to view the position description.
